Best Practice Franchising and Quarterly Reviews

Crema Espresso holds a quarterly review for franchisees with Best Practice Franchising. This gives store owners an insight into their store’s performance, reviews the business plan and looks directly at the issues affecting the bottom line.

Franchise Code of Conduct and Franchise Council of Australia

Crema Espresso follows the Franchise Code of Conduct. It is a code that allows for transparency and fairness in the industry. Crema Espresso is also a proud member of the Franchise Council of Australia. The FCA is the peak body for the franchise industry sector and membership is entirely voluntary. The aim of the council is to establish standards of international best practice in business format franchising for Australian franchise systems.

Crema Espresso has a comprehensive site and territory selection procedure which is designed not only to show case our premium product, but to give each site the ability to reach full brand potential, and be very successful.

 Obtaining Head Lease and Licence

Once the board at Crema Espresso has approved a site, we negotiate directly with the landlord to secure the best deal for our franchisees. Then a licence is drawn between Crema Espresso and the franchisee under the same conditions as the head lease. In our experience with lease negotiating, we know landlords are more comfortable and more negotiable with this arrangement.

Store Fitouts

As our system is “turn key”, Crema Espresso coordinates the total construction and fit out of all stores. This gives us better negotiating power with our suppliers, and ensures the stores are fitted out to the detailed Crema Espresso standards.

All benefits resulting from supplier negotiations are passed on to franchisees.
